01 · The company

Design, production and testing in one facility.

DiveSystem was founded in 1993 in Massa Marittima, Tuscany, a few kilometres from the sea. Everything happens in a single 2,500 m² centre: production departments, warehouse, research areas and a 10.5 metre deep pool.

Technicians, engineers and tailors work under the same roof. Sewing patterns, cutting, gluing, sewing and water testing are all done in-house: no stage is outsourced. DiveSystem MilPro is the line dedicated to military units.

02 · Special Forces

Developed with the units, on how they actually operate.

DiveSystem MilPro supplies national and international special forces units. Operator feedback goes back into production as design changes, prototypes and new versions.

01

Developed with operators

Every product comes from working with the units that use it, and is updated when operational requirements change.

02

Freedom of movement

Tailored cuts designed to work with the rest of the kit: weapons, tactical vest and rebreather.

03

Every product tested

Every product is tested individually before delivery, not by sampling. Drysuits are tested in the facility pool.

04

Materials

NATO 4-1-4 Rip-Stop trilaminate, high density neoprene with Supratex®, Kevlar® and Hypalon reinforcements, chosen for the mission profile.

05

NATO coding

The NCAGE code AF435 identifies DiveSystem in the NATO Codification System as a supplier to the Armed Forces of the Alliance. CE certified products.

06

Direct support

Maintenance and repairs are carried out in the same facility that built the product, starting from its sewing pattern.

04 · Built to specification

Standard production and production to the unit’s specification.

We make everything in-house: we can modify a standard product or build a new one from a tender specification or an operational requirement. Sizes, materials, colours, configurations, pockets and attachments. Small batches included.

  1. 01

    Requirement

Mission profile, environment, quantities and timing, or the tender specification.

  2. 02

    Design

Technicians and tailors turn the requirement into a sewing pattern, materials and construction details.

  3. 03

    Prototype

The first piece is built, tested and evaluated with the unit.

  4. 04

    Production

Every piece of the supply comes out of the same facility and goes through the same test.

  5. 05

    Support

Maintenance, repairs, reorders. The sewing pattern stays on file.

Project Cassiopea: three surface units in formation and the underwater vehicle submerged, design representation

Research and development · Patent Pending

ProjectCassiopea

Positioning and remote control of underwater drones from self-propelled surface units.

The position reference is not fixed: a group of surface units follows the submerged vehicle and computes its position by trilateration, with no cable and no pre-positioned infrastructure. The system is fully transportable.
