It is a technical harness without a BCD jacket, designed for commercial diving and professional OTS operations. Made for divers who need to carry load and equipment underwater without the bulk of a traditional jacket.

What materials does the OTS Contractor Harness use?

Harness in Hypalon neoprene 1500 with reinforced seams. Oversized TIG-welded stainless steel triangle and AISI 316 D-rings at every attachment point.

Can it be used with or without a backplate?

Yes. The OTS Contractor Harness works on its own as a pure technical harness, or with a stainless steel backplate, counter-plate and S.T.A. for tank mounting. Backplate and counter-plate stabilise the tank on the diver's back and improve comfort. Switching between the two configurations requires no structural change and no dedicated components.

What pockets does it have and can they be released?

You can choose between large pockets with quick release, which free the ballast in a single movement, and fixed pockets, available as four small or two large. All in Heavy Duty Hypalon neoprene, with stainless steel attachment points.

Backplate

With backplate or without. Your call.

The stainless steel backplate and counter-plate stabilise the tank on the diver's back and improve comfort over long shifts. The harness also works on its own, light and clean: same harness, two ways to enter the water, with no structural change and no dedicated spare parts.

Lifting

Built to be lifted.

The three lifting rings are the backbone of the harness: one at the centre, two on the shoulder straps. Made from 8 mm stainless steel wire in an anti-deformation triangular shape, they spread the load instead of opening up under pull. These are the points the operator is clipped to for lowering and recovery.

Every harness passes through our operators' hands: cutting, high-frequency welding of the Hypalon fabric and reinforced stitching of the load points. No automated line, no subcontractor: control stays where the product is born.
